 Smells great, but doesnt last November 23, 2008

Bought this cologne after some suggestions from friends. I bought the unboxed version. It smells great, but it does not last very long. I must say i'm disappointed in it.

When I initially purchased this I really liked the smell, I would usually spray some for day events or dates do to the light not-so-strong scent. When making the purchase, I purchased the bundled version that contained the cologne (spray) bottle and the after shave (pour) bottle. Majority of the time I just used the after shave bottle, and occasionally the cologne bottle. All was well until roughly 8-9 months out. The scent from the cologne bottle now smells very rancid, I actually had to change clothes because it just didn't smell right. I thought maybe it was just me so I sniffed the after shave bottle to compare. Surely enough, they were both different in smell. Not only did the cologne bottle smell rancid, the aftershave (although didn't smell as rancid) did start to smell sorta acidic. Overall I am very disappointed with the products shelf life. I have had polo sports bottles from high school that lasted longer then this defective product. If this is your way for a cost reduction to raise gross margins, then Tsk Tsk on you Kenneth Cole.

I have been buying Kenneth Coles Reaction for my husband for two years now and though he has tried others Reaction is the best hands down. The scent lasts the day, but is not to overpowering. He is asked often what he is wearing by men and women. The price on here was amazing ! The best I have found yet !!

I love this scent. I bought it for my boyfriend after smelling it on some stanger I had to ask and find out what it was so that my man could smell like it. I can now always tell when someone is wearing it. It is a very good smell. The other reviews say that the smell does not last. However, I am able to smell it on him all day. Perhaps they just can't smell it anymore. Wow i love how ti smells.

cudnt agree more with the last review...smells incredible...only drawback is the smell reall doesnt last long enuff...still GREATTTTTTTTTT
