This fragrance is light and kind of powdery. It smells great and is appropriate for day or evening, and for any age. I bought it as a birthday gift for my 59 year-old mother and she loved it! She receives compliments on it every time she wears it. She also wears Angel, and She by Emporio Armani. I recommend this fragrance to anyone looking for a unique scent.

I DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE DIFFERENCE IS BUT IT DOES NOT SMELL THE SAME AS WHAT A PURCHASED AT THE DEPARTMENT STORE.

Hanae Mori has come a long way from her birth in rural Shimane, Japan. She is now a world reknowned designer dividing her time between Paris and Japan. Departing from clothing she introduced this scent, a unique blend of aromas, some ten years ago.
Highlighted by flowers and berries there are also notes of strawberries and almond.
The lovely bottle has a top modeled of glass to represent the folded wings of a butterfly. This fragrance is suitable for all occasions.
