Husband's Favorite Fragrance For Years August 9, 2008

This is the only cologne my husband will wear. He prefers the cologne in the non-spray form so he can apply/rub directly onto his body. I think he puts too much on, initially, but by the end of the day I can still smell it. If he applied less would there be no scent at all? I'm not sure, only because I'm not the user. He's been wearing it for years (24+ years) so he may know that if he put on any less, there would be no hint of fragrance by the end of the day. But the scent stays the same, even after hours of wear. Some colognes do not do this.
