Works as advertised September 18, 2008 C.P. (USA) I have been using Bounce Free for years and have never noticed any kind of odd smell. I have used these dryer sheets through three moves and three different kinds of dryers: (1) regular front loader, (2) stacked unit, and (3) ultra capacity dryer, and I have been pleased with the results each time.
Bounce Sheets for baby June 19, 2008 Jamie White (Wisconsin) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
They must have worked on their product, since the last reviews. I am very happy and pleased with Bounce Free and the scent- well, lack of scent and softness. We found out that our daughter had very sensitive skin, and it turned out she was allergic to the perfumes in dryer sheets and detergent. We switched to All Free and Clear and these bounce sheets and we've had no more outbreaks. Absolutley No Smell came from clothes in the dryer and everything was nice and soft. Now that I am used to not having all these perfumes, I smell scented sheets, and feel overwelmed- do we really need all these perfumes on our clothes anyway? Good product- now anyways- Thanks Bounce for listening to your customers improving your products. Jamie W
No improvement...it's STILL TOXIC May 8, 2008 Topanga Rose (California USA) 2 out of 8 found this review helpful
First of all, you can SMELL clothes dried with Bounce from 10 feet away! It is really unpleasant; BOUNCED CLOTHES STINK. BEST TO USE THE DRYER BALLS that can be found in many catalogs. They are chemical free, without scent. Unbelievable that someone would use 4-5 sheets in a load! Mostly this product seems to be used by day laborers and recent immigrants who are new and eager Americans, and have not yet learned to BEWARE of some American products BE CAUTIONED ABOUT THE VOLATILE CHEMICALS IN THESE SHEETS!!!! soft clothes, funny smell December 16, 2007 R. Trujillo-Bennett (Albuquerque N.M.) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Ahh, now I finally know why our clothes smell sour after reading all the other reviews on this product. I had been re-washing, bleaching, hot water-ing, extra long dry cycle-ing all in attempt to get the sour (i.e. mildew) smell out. Would not suggest using this product.
allergic reactions to bounce December 14, 2007 jungleer (Bend, Oregon USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I often suffer from allergic reactions to fragrances and other environmental chemicals. I just suffered one from Bounce. The reactions are instantaneous and significant. In this case it caused throat itching, formation of phlegm, and coughing. The management company for my vacation home uses Bounce on the bedroom linen. I arrived for the holidays and within seconds of laying on the bed I began to suffer allergic reactions. The next day I washed the linens with Tide detergent, no Bounce, and the reaction disappeared.
