My #1 Cologne By Far September 27, 2008 Bradley Babson (Fay, NC) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've been all over when it comes to colognes. Ranging from the regular Hugo Boss, Calvin Klein, Tommy, and various Avon types that my Mother has gotten as demo's and/or very cheap being a rep. Each of the above brands I have tried varying types from each and many more that I cannot name at the moment. Anyways, to the thoughts on the actual product... It has a very pleasant that reminds me a lot of cinnamon. I can best describe its power by using this analogy, say you spray a very heavy dose of 5 sprays. Now with other colognes your going to be asked to leave the room, with this cologne its more potent but not as offensive. For example, say someone lights 5 candles vs spraying 5 cans of aerosol air freshener. If your looking for something that everyone in your office will know what your wearing when you pull into the parking lot then this isn't your fragrance. If on the other want it to be noticeable when you sit down by the people beside you then this is your fragrance. I would consider this a much sweeter and milder version of the regular Hugo by Hugo Boss that is so popular. Another similar but slightly spicier smelling cologne you may wish to consider if you like this is Lacoste Pour Homme By Lacoste. Another favorite of mine in my picky collection. Hope this helps!
Smells Fine September 17, 2008 C. W. Bennett (Campbell, CA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
My girlfriend has informed me that one must mix up my 'odor' occasionally to keep things fresh. My original scent started with "Hugo by Hugo Boss". For the next odor, I went to a very smelly store and ended up picking "Boss Selection by Hugo Boss" which I didn't really like, but was better than the alternative...staying in the store longer. For my 3rd odor, I didn't want the fumes from the smell store to eat away my brains so I sent my girlfriend, she brought back a few samples and the one I picked was, surprise "Boss By Hugo Boss". Besides the retarded naming scheme, I find the Hugo Boss of cologne olfactorily pleasing.

Prior to buying this cologne, I bought the very expensive Gio Armani Cologne. My husband did not like the fact that I bought him such expensive cologne. (Silly me for showing that he is worth it!) The fragrance did not last that long and he would spray on a ton of it. It did smell good. However, the product did not last long and the bottle was small to boot. For the holidays, my dear hubby asked for cologne. I never bought a cologne without smelling it first. However, I read the reviews how wonderful this cologne is and how it is potent. So, I bought it. I agree. It smells great and to me, it has a sweeter fragrance than Armani. You can smell all the layers of the cologne making it an interesting fragrance too. It is more reasonably priced and the bottle is huge! My husband started out with one spray on his neck. It lasted a long time. While, he puts on two sprays every day, it is a lot less than what he used to put on and it lasts. All in all, it is a great value with a great smell. If you like an interesting and sweet smell, this is the one for you.
